Well, it has all come down to this. Over the course of 43 games played between 24 teams, everything has led to this final between Italy and England.
In what could prove to be the biggest game in the careers of every player that walks on to the pitch on Sunday, Gareth Southgate and Roberto Mancini will know that they need to get their tactics and team selection spot on to ensure victory over the other.
So how will Italy and England line up for Sunday’s Euro 2020 final?

For Italy, we shouldn’t expect Mancini to diverge too much from the 4-3-3 formation that has worked wonders for him so far.
That will mean a back four in front of Gianluigi Donnarumma which consists of Giorgio Chiellini and Leonardo Bonucci as the central defensive pairing, Giovanni Di Lorenzo as the right full-back and Emerson in at left-back in place of the injured Leonardo Spinazzola.
Again, midfield should not throw up too many surprises as Chelsea star Jorginho is joined by Marco Verratti and Nicolo Barella on either side of him to form an effective midfield trio.
Where Mancini may be forced into a change is on the right wing, due to Federico Chiesa struggling to shake off a minor injury. However, the Juventus winger is still expected to start, with Lorenzo Insigne on the left flank and Ciro Immobile through the middle.
In similar circumstances, Southgate is unlikely to make any changes from the team that ground Denmark down and eventually claimed their passage to the final in the last round.
Jordan Pickford will remain between the posts, with Luke Shaw, Harry Maguire, John Stones and Kyle Walker making up the predictable back four.
In midfield there’s no doubt that the England manager will stick with his pairing of Kalvin Phillips and Declan Rice, with Mason Mount playing in front of them in the No.10 role.
On each wing we should expect to see Bukayo Saka given another start down the right, with Raheem Sterling on the left. Harry Kane, as ever, will be tasked with leading the line as England’s no.9.
