Manchester United and Liverpool will both be gunning for all three points when they lock horns at Old Trafford on Sunday evening.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side can certainly not afford to drop any more points in the Premier League - especially to their hated, local rivals.
Similarly, Jurgen Klopp’s team will be desperate to keep their unbeaten start to the season intact as they make a push for another title challenge. So how will both sides look to set up?
If the hosts have any hope of picking up a victory on Sunday, they’ll have to do so without a number of key players.
In defence, Solskjaer’s team will have to do without the injured Raphael Varane, with Victor Lindelof likely to step into defence for the Frenchman.
Similarly, a late injury to defensive midfielder Fred means Man Utd may be a little light in the middle of the park as they turn to Scott McTominay and Nemanja Matic to keep Liverpool at bay.
There are also concerns over Bruno Fernandes’ fitness for this clash, but we should probably still expect the Portugal international to make a speedy recovery before Sunday’s clash.
Liverpool also have a number of injury concerns, but unlike their Old Trafford rivals, Klopp’s side have had to contend with them for a number of weeks and have done well in spite of it.
Thiago Alcantara, Curtis Jones and Harvey Elliot are the main concerns for Liverpool, but the Anfield side should be able to accommodate their absences well with James Milner, Jordan Henderson and Fabinho in the middle of the pitch.
