Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) are riding high in Ligue 1, winning all three of their opening fixtures this season, including a 3-1 triumph over Lille before the international break. Brest, meanwhile, got their first win of the campaign by beating Saint-Etienne 4-0 but have had a more inconsistent start. PSG will aim to extend their perfect run, while Brest will be looking to pull off an upset at the Parc des Princes.

PSG Recent Form

PSG are in excellent form, winning all three of their matches in Ligue 1 so far. They scored 13 goals in these games, including a 6-0 demolition of Montpellier.

Despite the absence of Kylian Mbappe, PSG’s attack has been relentless, with contributions from Vitinha, Randal Kolo Muani, and Bradley Barcola.

Injury and Team News

PSG remain without several key players due to injury, including Gonçalo Ramos, Presnel Kimpembe, and Lucas Hernandez. Nuno Mendes, who missed the last match with a virus, has returned to fitness, but Vitinha and Warren Zaire-Emery are doubts after picking up knocks during international duty.

Last PSG Lineup

Here is how PSG lined up for their last match against Lille:

Brest Recent Form

Brest began the season poorly with back-to-back losses but turned things around with a 4-0 victory against Saint-Etienne. They currently sit in 12th place and will look to build on their recent win, although their record against PSG has been historically poor.

Injury and Team News

Brest are dealing with a couple of injuries, including Bradley Locko and Pierre Lees-Melou. Centre-back Julien Le Cardinal was also substituted in their last match due to an injury, and Soumaila Coulibaly is expected to start in his place.

Last Brest Lineup

Here is how Brest lined up in their last match against Saint-Etienne:

PSG Player to Watch

Randal Kolo Muani – The forward has been in excellent form and is expected to lead the attack once again in Mbappe’s absence. His ability to break down defences will be key.
