Jude Bellingham became Dortmund's youngest ever goalscorer on Monday evening as he helped the Bundesliga runners-up to a comfortable 5-0 win over Duisburg in the German Cup.

Despite strong interest from Manchester United, Dortmund won the race to sign wonderkid Bellingham from Birmingham for £25m to make him the most expensive 17-year-old in history.

After already making history, he is breaking more records. Thirty minutes into the DFB-Pokal match against Duisburg, he latched on to a neat flick from Thorgan Hazard to display composure inside the box to squeeze a strike beyond the keeper into the top right corner to make it 2-0.

For his overall performance, he earned a 7.7 FC Rating.

With that goal, he became the youngest scorer in the 100-year history of Dortmund and broke a record that had been standing for 68 years.

Afterwards, he wrote on Twitter: "A true honour, so grateful for the opportunity to play for this club!"

He actually contributed to another first on the night, as due to Jadon Sancho's opener it was the first time ever that two Englishman scored in the same fixture for Dortmund in their history.
