How Tottenham could line-up against Chelsea

Jose Mourinho will be returning to his old stomping ground Stamford Bridge with a huge smile on his face.

The former Chelsea boss is currently sitting atop the Premier League table with Spurs, and the Portuguese has seemingly re-found his mojo at the north London side.

Mourinho rested the vast majority of his players for the 4-0 training exercise against Bulgarian outfit Ludogorets in the Europa League on Thursday night.

The evening was so straightforward that Mourinho made a raft of substitutions midway through the second half, allowing four youngsters - Dane Scarlett, Harvey White, Jack Clarke and Alfie Whiteman - all to make their first team debuts.

Mourinho will naturally restore his strongest starting XI for the game against Chelsea, and all the big hitters are available.

The only exception is defender Toby Alderweireld, who limped out of their win against Manchester City and is expected to be out for around a month.

Young defender Joe Rodon could be handed a surprise start alongside Eric Dier at the heart of the Spurs defence.

In midfield, Tanguy Ndombele impressed against Ludogorets, and is expected to maintain his starting position. Moussa Sissoko and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg are due to start in the central midfield two.

Striker Harry Kane will be serviced by Ndombele, Son Heung-min and Steven Bergwijn.

Gareth Bale, Dele Alli, Lucas Moura and Carlos Vinicius are all expected to drop down to the subs bench for the game.
