Spanish midfielder Thiago Alcantara is expected to start for Jurgen Klopp's side against Southampton.
Thiago has barely played for Liverpool since his €25m signing from Bayern Munich due to a knee injury.
The Champions League winner played 17 minutes against Newcastle in Liverpool's last game, and is believed to be handed his first start since the Mersey side derby in October.

Joel Matip is out through injury, so Fabinho is still expected to play in central defence for the English champions. He will likely be partnered by Rhys Williams. Andy Robertson and Trent Alexander-Arnold will occupy their usual positions at right and left back.
