Man Utd will once again be without Paul Pogba for this weekend's clash against Newcastle due to injury.

Against Everton in the Premier League, the Frenchman was substituted after a thigh injury and has been on the sidelines ever since. It's believed that the 27-year-old is also set to miss out the game against Newcastle.

Edinson Cavani and Donny van de Beek are also 50-50 as to whether they make it for the match, after the pair picked up muscular problems following the comprehensive win over Real Sociedad in the Europa League.

Man Utd boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is expected to make changes, as he rotated his squad for the European tie in midweek.

David De Gea should come back in after being rested, as should Victor Lindelof and Luke Shaw, with Aaaron Wan-Bissaka and Harry Maguire keeping their places.

In midfield, Scott McTominay is expected to drop to the bench in order to give Nemanja Matic playing time. Fred is expected to retain his place in the heart of the United midfield.

Marcus Rashford and Mason Greenwood are expected to start, but Daniel James, who played in the 4-0 win against the Spanish side, is thought to be the one to give way for the returning Bruno Fernandes.

Cavani is a doubt for the match, but is expected to recover in time and lead the line for The Red Devils.

If Cavani fails to pass a fitness test, then Greenwood could replace him at the top of Solskjaer's system, with James retaining his place.

Amad Diallo is impressing those at Old Trafford, and could be afforded some minutes against Newcastle.
