Real Madrid have emphatically won the Primera Division this season and on the final day of the campaign, they will face Real Betis at the Santiago Bernabeu.

At the moment, they are 12 points clear of Barcelona in what has been an extremely impressive campaign under Carlo Ancelotti. There could be more to come, too, with the Champions League final against Borussia Dortmund on the horizon.

As for Betis, they have secured qualification for the Europa League Conference playoff round.

Real Madrid current form

Madrid have lost just one game this season and it came in September against city rivals Atletico.

They won the league thanks to a 3-0 win over Cadiz at the beginning of May and since then have remained unbeaten. Even though Ancelotti has tinkered with his side to accommodate for the Champions League and rested players here and there, Los Blancos have remained superb.

Last week, they did slip up in an entertaining 4-4 draw against Villarreal.

Real Betis current form

Betis previously had aspirations of qualifying for the Europa League but their recent form put a stop to that target.

They have won just two out of their last five games and in their last two have drawn versus Las Palmas and lost 2-0 at home against Real Sociedad.

Real Madrid vs Real Sociedad Team News

David Alaba and Aurelien Tchouameni remain the only injury absentees for Madrid but Ancelotti will swap things about again.

Arda Guler, Joselu and Brahim Diaz were given starts against Villarreal, with the former pairing both getting on the scoresheet. Quite simply, it will be up to the Italian whom he wants to rest or give minutes to a week before the Champions League final.

Isco, Marc Bartra and Cedric Bakambu are out for Betis, while there are doubts over German Pezzella, Chimy Avila, Abner Vinicius, Pablo Fornals and William Carvalho.

Aitor Ruibal is available after his suspension.
