One Championship match with major relegation ramifications on Friday is Sheffield Wednesday versus Swansea.

Sheffield Wednesday desperately need to find a run of form between now and the end of the season as they are currently poised for the drop, down in 23rd in the table.

Swansea are up in 15th, but with plenty of points left to play for, they are too close to the bottom three for comfort.

Current Form

Sheffield Wednesday's current form

Wednesday went on a decent run of four victories in a row from the middle of February to the start of match, but they have been brought back down to reality with two losses on the bounce against Leeds and Ipswich, with them losing 6-0 to The Tractor Boys last time out.

Swansea's current form

Swansea's recent form has been up and down, with three wins, one draw and one loss in their last five.

In their last game, they defeated Cardiff 2-0.

Team News

Wednesday will probably be without influential midfielder Barry Banna, who came off injured in the aforementioned loss versus Ipswich. He is back in training, but he'll receive a late fitness test before the Swansea game.

Josh Windass and Callum Patterson are still out, though the former might be back for the next game on Easter Monday.

There are doubts over Ian Poveda, Kristian Pedersen and Juan Delgado, too.

Luke Williams has no major injuries to contend with.

Scoreline Prediction

Sheffield Wednesday are just not the same without Bannan and will struggle to create against Swansea. But, the Swans aren't great either, so both sides might settle for a 0-0 draw here.
