West Ham Player Ratings vs Fulham: Hammers get very late Danny Ings equaliser

West Ham were able to grab an extremely late equaliser against Fulham after what was a very lacklustre performance all-round.

West Ham United rescued a dramatic point against Fulham with a 95th-minute equaliser from Danny Ings in a tense Premier League clash at Craven Cottage. The Hammers fell behind early in the first half when Raúl Jiménez scored for the hosts, but they fought back to salvage a 1-1 draw in the dying moments. Despite struggling to break down Fulham’s organised defence, West Ham showed resilience and determination to avoid defeat.

Fulham, on the other hand, will be frustrated after dominating large spells of the game but failing to convert that control into a victory. Marco Silva’s men were solid in possession and looked dangerous in attack, but their inability to close out the match left them vulnerable to West Ham’s late surge. Both teams will see this as a missed opportunity, but West Ham will be the happier side after escaping with a valuable point.

West Ham Player Ratings

West Ham United scraped a 1-1 draw against Fulham at Craven Cottage, thanks to a dramatic last-minute equaliser from Danny Ings. Despite falling behind to a Raúl Jiménez goal in the first half, the Hammers pushed forward late in the game and were rewarded with Ings' stoppage-time strike. Overall, West Ham showed resilience to get back into it, but lacked creativity in midfield for much of the game. The defence struggled to cope with Fulham’s attacking play, though goalkeeper Alphonse Aréola kept his side in the match with some key saves.

Julen Lopetegui’s side displayed moments of individual brilliance but failed to fully gel as a unit. Michail Antonio had a quiet game up front, while key players like Tomáš Souček and Emerson also underperformed. West Ham will be relieved to come away with a point but will need significant improvement if they're hoping to pick up points in the coming weeks.

Fulham Player Ratings

Fulham started the match brightly and looked the better side for large periods, especially in the first half, where Raúl Jiménez’s goal gave them the lead. The Cottagers dominated possession and created more chances, with Emile Smith Rowe and Andreas Pereira playing key roles in their attacking movements. However, despite their superiority, they couldn't kill the game off, and their defensive frailties were exposed late on.

Marco Silva’s team will be disappointed not to take all three points, especially considering how well they controlled large parts of the match. While individuals like João Palhinha and Bernd Leno had decent performances, a lapse in concentration allowed West Ham to snatch a late equaliser, which cost Fulham dearly.

Here are the player ratings for Fulham:

Best Player of the Match - Emile Smith Rowe

Emile Smith Rowe was the standout performer, dictating play in the attacking midfield role. He was at the heart of most of Fulham's positive moves and constantly caused problems for West Ham's defence. His creativity and vision set him apart in a match where Fulham needed more cutting edge.
