With Leeds trailing 2-0 at half-time to Millwall, a familiar wave of dissent flooded over Elland Road. Leeds haven't been good for a month, and shot-shy Patrick Bamford bearing the brunt of most of the ire from the fans.
But in the second half, that all changed. Bamford poached two of the type of goals fans had been crying out for all season, one from almost on the goal line, the second a flying header at the back post. But it wasn't just that - Bamford had 12 touches inside the area - the most of the Championship round, as well as laying on a huge chance that Mateusz Klich blazed over. In a word - better.
Wigan's superb home win over Sheffield Wednesday was masterminded by Morsy, who was a colossus in the centre of midfield for a team who have been a little unfortunate, on xG terms, not to have more points than they currently do.
Morsy's assist aside, he achieved 15 recoveries - easily the most of the round - he won a huge 15 duels and completed 46 of his 54 passes. He truly dominated Wednesday's midfield and given their survival hopes a shot in the arm.
Clucas was a happy man to net against his old club Swansea.
After smashing home the crucial opening goal, he sprinted the full length of the pitch to celebrate in front of the away support. But he contributed more than just a sweet strike - he fought for everything tooth and nail. He won five duels, 2/2 tackles, 3/3 aerial challenges, 10 recoveries, three interceptions and three clearances. It's pretty clear this game meant a lot to the normally reserved and creative midfielder.
Fisher is having an excellent campaign at Preston and he was a standout once again in their impressive 3-0 win at Barnsley.
His neat cut-back allowed Tom Barkhuizen to roll home but his overall defensive display was quite superb, recording seven interceptions (the most of any player in the round) and seven clearances. His usefulness at either end of the pitch has been vital to Preston of late.

Taking advantage of Fisher's good work, he slid home the opening goal with confidence, before squeezing home a second through the goalkeeper's legs, taking advantage of some lax Barnsley defending.
