Every point counts for Manchester City as they look to retain their Premier League title up against a fierce challenge from Arsenal in second place.

Pep Guardiola's side will fancy themselves against a Wolves side without much to play for in their remaining games, but Gary O'Neill's men will be keen to put a dent in the City's title hopes.

Current Form

Man City's current form

While Arsenal and Liverpool have faltered in the last month or so, with the latter falling out of the title race completely, City have been pretty much perfect in the Premier League recently.

Guardiola's outfit have won five games in a row, blowing away all before them.

In that run of five games, they have scored an astonishing 19 goals.

Wolves' current form

Last week, Wolves recovered from a dreadful run of form to defeat Luton 2-1 at Molineux.

Prior to that, they were on a run of six games without a win which included losses versus Aston Villa, West Ham, Arsenal and Bournemouth.

Man City vs Wolves Team News

Ederson was forced off injured against Forest due to a shoulder problem. He has been spotted back in training, but it is likely Stefan Ortega will start against Wolves.

Phil Foden and Ruben Dias missed the last game due to illness but both should be available here, as will Erling Haaland, who has been out for three weeks due to an ankle issue.

Craig Dawson and Leon Chiwone are out for the season for Wolves, while the game will come too soon for Pedro Neto, who has missed a period of action due to a hamstring issue. Rayan Ait-Nouri, a reported transfer target of Man City, will be assessed before kick-off after picking up a knock to the knee.

Tommy Doyle is ineligible to play against his parent club.

Key player - Man City

City will happily welcome Phil Foden back into the starting XI on Saturday if he has fully recovered from his illness as he has had a superb goalscoring season so far.
