Leeds will have a keen eye on the respective matches of Leicester and Ipswich earlier in the day on Friday, as they could end the evening three points clear at the top of the table, or even on level points with the Foxes should both teams win.

Leeds and Leicester are both on 82 points, but the latter have a game in hand.

Watford don't have much to play for as we head into the business end of the season as they currently find themselves in 13th, with both promotion and relegation seemingly out of reach.

Current Form

Leeds' current form

Leeds are marching towards automatic promotion and have lost just one game this year so far in the Championship. They have won three on the bounce and last time out put two past Millwall in a 2-0 victory at Elland Road.

You'd need to go back to 29 December to find the last time Leeds failed to find the back of the net.

Watford's current form

Watford defeated Birmingham 1-0 away in their last game, but prior to that they went on a shocking run of just one win in 12 in all competitions.

Team News

Leeds are sweating over the fitness of star player Crysencio Summerville, who has scored 16 goals this season in the Championship. He was the victim of a robust challenge in the Millwall game, but manager Daniel Farke is hopeful that the winger will be available for selection versus Watford. Archie Gray will also be assessed closer to the game.

There are doubts over Willy Gnonto and Ilia Gruev, while Georginio Rutter is recovering from hernia surgery, yet might feature if deemed fit.

For Watford, Jamal Lewis missed the international break with Northern Ireland after collecting an injury versus Birmingham, while Ryan Andrews has a dead leg. Ken Sema and Jeremy Ngakia are definitely out.

Scoreline Prediction

There's no doubt that Leeds are ravaged by injuries heading into this one, but they should still have enough to narrowly overcome Watford.

Watford 0-1 Leeds.
