Arsenal could again be without Takehiro Tomiyasu for their Boxing Day fixture against Norwich in the Premier League.
The former Bologna man was forced off due to a slight muscular injury against Leeds last week and had to sit out the League Cup victory against Sunderland on Tuesday.
Mikel Arteta says the club will assess Tomiyasu over the next few days to see if he can feature against Norwich, but the right-back will likely not be risked.
That could mean a rare league start at right-back for Cedric Soares, who played against Sunderland.
The Gunners have suffered from a mini Covid outbreak this week, too, as Pablo Mari, Albert Sambi Lokonga and Calum Chambers have all tested positive, while Ainsley Maitland-Niles will also miss the Norwich game due to another unrelated illness.
Aaron Ramsdale will start in goal behind a probably back four of Cedric, Ben White, Gabriel and Kieran Tierney.
Granit Xhaka and Thomas Partey were rested during the week so will be fresh to start in the middle of midfield.
Arsenal have won three Premier League games in a row with a starting front four of Martin Odegaard, Bukayo Saka, Martin Odegaard and Alexandre Lacazette, so expect them to feature again from the opening whistle.
Emile Smith Rowe started against Sunderland but he will likely drop to the bench.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is again unavailable for selection due to his ongoing disciplinary issues at the club.
