On the opening day, they dispatched of Ipswich 2-0 and then comfortably defeated Brentford 2-0 at Anfield. Their best performance came last time out as they swept arch-rivals Man Utd aside with a 3-0 win away at Old Trafford.

They've scored seven goals and conceded zero so far.

But, that should open up an opportunity for new signing Federico Chiesa to make the squad for the first time as he continues to build his fitness after his transfer from Juventus.

Curtis Jones and Alexis Mac Allister have had groin and abductor problems recently both should be able to shake off the issues to play.
