About Romelu Lukaku

Romelu Lukaku is often criticised for being a flat-track bully in front of goal, regularly racking up good numbers against the smaller teams while his record against the bigger ones leaves something to be desired. But goals still need to be scored, irrespective of the opposition, and Lukaku is damn good at it. A 17-year-old enigma at Anderlecht who earned a big move to Chelsea, loan spells at WBA and Everton proved he could score in the Premier League and a permanent move to the latter was enough to attract Manchester United into spending £70m to secure his services. Not always the most refined of operators but one who has a real ability to be in the right place to provide the finishing touch, both for club and for international level with Belgium.
